Portrait of a Graduate
Grounded in Truth | Formed in Virtue | Ready to Serve
By the end of the 8th grade, a Karis Academy Knight is marked by the formation of the whole person — heart, mind, and character — rooted in Christ, shaped by classical learning, and devoted to a life of virtue and service.
1. Grounded in Truth
Sees all of life through the lens of Scripture and delights in the beauty of God’s Word.
Understands and articulates a Christian worldview with clarity and humility.
Engages great books, ideas, and discussions with discernment, wisdom, and intellectual curiosity.
2. Formed in Virtue
Embodies the classical and theological virtues: prudence, justice, temperance, fortitude, faith, hope, and love.
Lives with honor and integrity, reflecting the noble calling of a Knight.
Practices humility, perseverance, and self-control in pursuit of both academic and spiritual growth.
3. Ready to Serve
Acts with courage, compassion, and conviction in service to others.
Honors others above self, protecting the weak, defending truth, and contributing to community life.
Lives with a sense of calling — ready to serve Christ in the home, the church, and the world.
